Abstract
Defining future competency requirements for recruitment calls for integrating role specific knowledge, organizational context, external developments, and human judgement. This study develops and evaluates a structured Human AI Collaboration Model for future oriented competency analysis. Using an iterative Design Thinking approach, an interactive prototype combining guiding questions, information sources, and generative AI prompts was developed and tested with five line managers, complemented by expert feedback from two consultants. The resulting approach is human initiated, AI augmented, and human evaluated. Initial findings indicate that structured Human AI collaboration can support systematic reflection on future competency requirements while highlighting the continuing importance of contextual human judgement.
